Job description


The pay range represents the anticipated base pay for this position. Actual pay will be based on factoring including, but not limited to: market data, internal equity, skillset and knowledge, experience, education and overall qualifications for the role.



JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Loan Operations activities, ensuring timely, professional and accurate service while meeting appropriate service level agreements. Provides leadership, coaching, workflow management, and operational support to the Loan Operations team. Ensures all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.


This position serves as the primary operational support and backup to the Loan Operations Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing daily departmental activities while supporting the Manager's strategic, compliance, staffing, and operational objectives.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Optimize team talents by providing leadership and coaching to individuals by:

  • Establishing clear goals that tie to the vision and mission of the business.
  • Championing the culture with your team and across the organization.
  • Determine staffing needs; Recruit, hire and onboard talent.
  • Document and conduct annual performance review process duties on time.
  • Conduct ongoing one on one coaching sessions
  • Managing employee performance issues in a timely manner and adhering to employment policies.
  • Participate in leadership training opportunities and apply learnings.

2. Oversee the functionality of the Loan Operations department in order to:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of servicing, booking, documenting, reporting and quality assurance reviews
  • Monitor departmental SLAs, and review quality trends and coordinate corrective actions with the Lending Operations Manger
  • Monitor system maintenance and provide production support
  • Analyze quality and exception trends to determine root cause
  • Achieve satisfactory audits and compliance reviews by ensuring ongoing compliance with Federal and State regularity guidelines and adherence to established policies and procedures. Help the Lending Operations Manager ensure findings are addressed timely and thoroughly
  • Implement departmental process improvements and/or cost savings
  • Understand and help the Lending Operations Manager manage department priorities and team workloads
  • Provide adequate and appropriate training to effectively complete all tasks
  • Monitor services offered and recommend changes, updates and department restructuring as necessary
  • Ensure delivery of high quality service by team members to internal and external customers

3. Complex Loan Documentation and Transaction Processing

  • Accurately process complex transaction requests with established service level agreements.
  • Create and review standard and complex loan documents necessary to meet Credit Policy, Regulatory and Compliance, legal and procedural requirements for new commercial, agriculture, consumer and leases as well as modifications, refinances, extensions, renewals, change in terms, and subordinations.
  • Perform critical loan and lease file maintenance in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review complex operational transactions and maintenance requests to ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

4. Manage or assist with system upgrades and roll outs of new products and services by:

  • Partnering with all applicable departments
  • Support implementation and training activities related to the loan operations system changes
  • Monitor performance of new products/services to ensure ongoing success


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education-

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related and progressive experience

Experience-

  • Required: 4- 6 years of experience in loan operations with at least two years of supervision of others.
  • Preferred: 6- 8 years of experience in loan operations with experience in FISERV, LaserPro, Abrigo with at least two years of supervision of others.


SCHEDULE

This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week from 8:30 am to 5 :00 pm. The Company reserves the right to change the schedule as required for business needs.
