Job description

Canadian Executive Search Group (USA ), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions has immediate openings for Warehouse Associates for our client in the Tire Distribution industry located in Las Vegas, NV.
Location: Las Vegas, NV.
Start date: ASAP
Shift hours: Training will be conducted on the day shift for the first two weeks, from 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. After training is complete, the associate will transition to the graveyard shift.
Graveyard: Monday-Friday, 1:00 AM-9:30 AM
Every other Saturday: 4:00 AM-1:30 PM
Payrate: $18.00/HR
Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trailers, picking warehouse orders, operating a stand-up order picker, forklift, and clamp truck, lifting and moving tires manually up to 85 lbs.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Be self-motivated, a team player, and a fast learner
  • Check all orders for quality, order accuracy, and proper labeling
  • Have great communication skills
Requirements:
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required.
  • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading
  • Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, informing management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts
  • Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow โ€ข Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial / housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building; keeping floors clear of debris, maintaining bathrooms and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse
  • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc. and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork. May assist in daily closing of the warehouse.
  • You must have steel toed shoes or boots at time of application
