Description

We are looking for a full time dockworker for our Las Vegas location. Sun - Thurs 1000 - 1800

Job Summary

PM Inbound and Outbound Warehouse Operations and Distribution. Pay commensurate with experience level.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Unload, load sort and stage freight efficiently and accurately. Includes hand unloading/ stacking.
  • Dock administrative duties, including, but not limited to labeling, scanning, filing, pick, pack, scanning, product inventory and attaching paperwork to shipment loads.
  • Assist dispatch in reviewing, approving, and processing or directing driver visits.
  • Safely and efficiently operate lift equipment, palletjack.
  • Maintain, record and complete required Logs and checklists regarding but not limited to inventory, arrivals, departures.
  • Process all cargo DIM, and re-weigh.
  • Ensure freight is properly secured, strapped, packaged according to its requirements.
  • Maintain efficiency when loading/ stacking freight. Freight may be palletized or unpalletized.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate any potential and current issues to ensure safety and quality.
  • Inspect freight for OSD, document with images. Report, when necessary and accurately notate damage.
  • Compare BOL, Manifest and other supporting documentation to ensure freight count, correct delivery, or floor location.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • Maintain organization, as volume and business vary.
  • Effectively work as a team-player to ensure AM shift is set up for success.
Qualifications

Competencies

  • Must have at least one year of verifiable LTL experience in the trucking/ logistics industry, with good attendance.
  • FL License and experience preferred, but training offered.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, unassisted.
  • Ability to stand, lift, squat for extended period of time- Requires good physical condition.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written direction.
