Job description

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Delivery Unloader is responsible for ensuring that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition while providing superior customer service.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assistdrivers to ensure that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition. 
  • Assistdriversto ensure thatappropriate deliverydocumentation is generated for each load. Ensure orders are loaded safely and in a manner that will prevent damageintransit. 
  • Load and unload truck. Lift, pull, move, product weighing 100+ lbs.daily,numeroustimes throughout the day. 
  • Help verify loads for quality and completeness. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable withgood communicationskills for direct customer contact.
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100+ lbs.) on a continuous basis throughout the day.
  • Must be able to work 8-12-hour shifts Monday- Friday
  • Provides world class customer service and prompt communication to all customersregardingdelivery.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School graduate or GEDrequired.
