We are looking to hire an experienced Laborer to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare construction site as needed
- Lift heavy loads up to 70 pounds
- Dig pits, trenches and foundations
- Remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials
- Load and unload supplies from trucks, both manually or by operating equipment
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner by following all safety procedures on the job site
- Attend daily safety meetings with crew
- Utilize proper lifting techniques
- Report safety violations to Supervisor and/or Safety Director
- Immediately report any/all incidents to the Supervisor or Safety team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Must have physical strength and endurance
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Comfort working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: 2+ years construction industry experience preferred
Pay: $17+ per hour; Based on Experience
