Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator at our Asphalt Plant in Caldwell, ID!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Communicate and promote safety compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards
-Ability to run mixing operations on the plant to ensure material quality and compliance with specification
-Ensure consistent production to meet daily orders
-Offloading hot asphalt oil
-Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach include scaling, ticketing and assist in asphalt orders
-Responsible for completing daily checklist, journal, and reports
-Continuously communicating with plant operators, truckers, quality control and dispatch
-Problem solving skills to help identify and resolve issues that arise
-Maintain aggregate stockpiles and liquid levels
-Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow
-Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking
-Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
-Proven work history of two (2) years or more experience in asphalt plant operation
-A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
-Valid driver's license
-Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands
-Must be able to work in all weather conditions
-Must be willing to travel if job requires
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
