JOB DETAILS

Pay: 22-24 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 am - 4:00 pm)

The Loader 2 position is an entry-level role that is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments. Loaders play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of shipping operations and ensuring that products are delivered and received in good condition.

  • Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment.
  • Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load.
  • Assists with inventory counts as required.
  • Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area.
  • May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader.
