With a pay range of $18 to $24 per hour (based on experience), shift differential of a $1.50 plus excellent benefits, this position is for those who don't mind a physically demanding role and take pride in paying attention to detail! Your Role: As a Truck Loader with Hartung Glass Industries, you will be the critical link that loads and offloads different types of glass products, ensuring every piece is handled safely and efficiently for timely delivery to our customers. What to Expect: This is a physical job-you'll be handling and loading glass materials, so strength and endurance are a must! Requirements What you will Do: * Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the plant and warehouse * Move glass products from one area of the plant to another on carts. * Inspect glass for defects or damage before loading. * Apply guards, padding, and cushioning materials to prevent damage during transit * Secure glass using straps, padding, racks, and braces to prevent shifting or breakage during transportation. * Assist drivers with verifying load accuracy and completing shipping paperwork. * Safely load glass products onto carts and transport them to the shipping area * Communicate effectively with production, shipping, and leadership teams regarding material needs * Support shipping and receiving activities as needed * Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage * Follow all safety procedures when handling glass materials * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Support team production goals and meet daily output expectations Requirements: * Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred * Prior Forklift operating experience. * Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment. * Good communication and problem-solving abilities. * Physically able to stand, walk, lift up to 75lbs, reach, and handle materials regularly. * Strong attention to quality, safety, and productivity. * Dependable and punctual with a willingness to work extended hours as needed. * Attention to detail and accuracy * Time management and sense of urgency * Reliability and strong work ethic * Team collaboration * Safety-focused mindset Why Hartung Glass Industries?
