Job description

Job Summary

Under supervision, performs logistics tasks including material handling, inventory management, and shipment preparation using manual methods and basic equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors).

Key Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklift to primarily load but also unload shipments.

Prepare and load orders for shipment to include placing on pallets.

Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.

Document damaged items.

Complete required load tallies and properly scan units.

Conduct routine quality checks on finished goods.

Adhere to safety and organizational standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse setting.

This job is for 2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Effective time management and organizational abilities.

Reliable attendance and flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and overtime.

Compensation And Benefits

Starting salary for position: $29.82 per hour.

  • Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
