Job Description:
Responsibilities
• Supervises the load out of equipment for the job
• Communicates with the customer regarding operations on the well site
• Manages the wireline crew and directs their progression and operations in the field and shop
• Ensure that all HAZMAT transport is completed as per applicable regulations
• Fills out service orders and job-related paperwork completely and correctly
• Drive equipment as directed
• Assist and direct in the rig up and rig down of equipment
• Determines proper tool strings for use in the well and directs the makeup of the tool string
• Ensures compliance with all Safety Standards and Standard Operating Procedures
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Directs the rebuilding of tools used in the servicing of the well and assists as needed
• Load and assemble perforating guns without supervision
• Operate and maintain assigned specialized wireline equipment without supervision
• Maintain a clean shop and work area
• Assist in the training of all Operator positions and Junior Field Engineers as assigned
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned Job Qualifications
• Possess and maintain a class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
• Have good written and oral communication skills
• Perform all wireline related engineer tasks without supervision
• Familiar with all wireline tools and services offered in the district
• Can properly fill out service orders for any service offered in the district
• Operate crane, forklifts and man-lifts as needed
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years wireline experience or equivalent
