Overview:
Design, build and maintain large-scale data processing systems, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and optimized for analysis. Develop, implement and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to collect, process, and integrate data from multiple sources into centralized repositories. Optimize database performance through partitioning, indexing, and denormalization to speed up queries. Design and manage real-time processing flows using tools like Kafka, Spark Streaming to ensure timely data availability. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Coordinate with IT and application support teams to maintain infrastructure and troubleshoot issues. Accept BS with 5-yr experience as MS. Primary worksite is Alpharetta GA, but relocation possible. Req: Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Date or Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Information Technology, or related Engineering or Science majors with 5 months experience as Data Engineer or Data Scientist or Database Engineer or DBA or Team Lead or Manager or Engineering consultant or Software Engineer or Developer or Analyst or Consultant or related IT positions.
