About the Team:
Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About the Role:
This role will lead a team of hourly employees in the Regional Fulfillment Center to ensure accuracy of Grocery Outlet inventory. This role will report to the RFC Operations Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure accuracy of GO Inventory received, shipped and on hand at our RFC locations.
  • Audit RFC receiving and shipping for accuracy, pack and size, temperatures, code dates and any discrepancies.   Monitor adjustments made by third party vendors to the inventory.
  • Provide the most efficient/professional service to our stores and vendors. 
  • Monitor product turns (FIFO) based on date codes.
  • Monitor proper quantity of less than layer items.
  • Represent GO and the GO Distribution in a professional manner at third party facility and with all vendor contacts including food banks for possible donations.
  • Periodically audit GO inventory to 3PL inventory for reconciliation (Cycle Counts).
  • Regularly audit outbound loads for pick accuracy and correct shipping paperwork.
  • Coordinate Quarterly Inventories for reconciliation.
  • Manage Over/Shorts for timeliness, accuracy and proper reconciliation.
  • Help create and implement ongoing changes that will lead to a more efficient distribution system.
  • Identify and communicate efficiencies that benefit GO.
  • Moderate Clerical duties with communication with the Accounting Department.
  • Provide direction, leadership and supervision for Clerical Assistant if applicable.

About The Pay:

  • Base Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000

About you:

  • AA Degree or equivalent: or 1-2 years related experience.
  • PC Proficiency on the following programs: MS Outlook, Word, & Excel.
  • Auditing/Inventory control.
  • Ability to conduct business on the telephone & E-mail professionally and accurately for extended period of time.  Interface with Store Operations and Managers continuously.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of Operators or employees.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in situations.
