Seeking aScientist Ito support the Gene Therapy team by performing analytical characterization oflipid nanoparticles (LNPs)used for gene therapy and genome editing applications. This hands-on laboratory role focuses on evaluating nanoparticle formulations, generating high-quality analytical data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance non-viral nucleic acid delivery technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing and quantification ofLNPs encapsulating nucleic acids.
  • Characterize LNP formulations using analytical techniques such asRiboGreen, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Zeta Potential, andHPLC.
  • Analyze raw materials and evaluate relationships between nanoparticle properties, efficacy, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate analytical records and communicate results to project teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional scientists and support routine laboratory operations, including buffer preparation, instrument calibration, and inventory management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field with2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience withLNP characterization, includingRiboGreen, DLS, Zeta Potential, and/orHPLC.
  • Proficiency inbuffer preparationand laboratory analytical techniques.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency inMicrosoft Excel; experience withGraphPad PrismorJMPis a plus.
