Brevard Family Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Brevard Family Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental and emotional needs.
• Collaborating with clients to create personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations.
• Providing individual therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Facilitating couples therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Regularly reviewing and adapting treatment plans to reflect client progress and address evolving needs.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories.
• Engaging in crisis intervention to support clients experiencing acute distress in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Staying abreast of the latest research, theories, and practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and therapeutic techniques.
• Advocating for clients' rights, empowering them to make informed decisions about their mental health journey.

Our clientele ranges from children to adults and includes individuals looking for support in managing personal issues, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the appropriate State Board.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy in various clinical settings.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience working with a diverse range of populations, including children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for efficient documentation.

This full-time LMFT position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
