Synchrony Mental and Behavioral Services is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a remote position, allowing flexibility while still being part of a cohesive and supportive team. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ emotional and psychological needs, utilizing an array of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that align with the specific goals and circumstances of clients and their families.
• Facilitate therapy sessions focused on relationship dynamics, conflict resolution, and effective communication, with a special emphasis on divorce and relationship counseling.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care and ensure holistic treatment.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, various therapeutic options, and self-care strategies to encourage proactive engagement in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in strict adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in marriage and family therapy.
• Participate actively in weekly team meetings, case consultations, and trainings aimed at enhancing clinical skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to combat stigma and ensure a supportive community environment.

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring a sensitive and adaptable approach. The primary focus is on clients dealing with relational issues, including but not limited to marital challenges and the complexities of divorce. Many of our clients may also face accompanying mood disorders, which necessitates a holistic understanding of both relationship dynamics and mental health conditions.

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a secure therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to clients' individual struggles and life experiences.
• Show strong organizational skills to manage caseload effectively while handling administrative tasks efficiently.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
