Job description

The Logistics Analyst supports the LMC Logistics team by ensuring accuracy and execution across inventory management, freight invoicing, truck dispatching, and reload program support. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity, operational flow, and visibility across logistics programs, while supporting the promotion and rollout of new reload locations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and team-focused, with the ability to manage data, coordinate shipments, and collaborate across internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform inventory audits across reload locations and logistics programs, identifying discrepancies and supporting reconciliation efforts.
  • Conduct freight and vendor invoice audits, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and alignment with rates and services.
  • Coordinate and dispatch truck movements in support of reload locations, inventory transfers, and member freight needs.
  • Work directly with carriers, reload partners, and internal logistics analysts to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor dispatched loads, track shipment status, and proactively resolve issues or delays in collaboration with the logistics team.
  • Ensure dispatched loads align with inventory availability, audit requirements, and program expectations.
  • Support the promotion and rollout of new reload locations, including system setup, internal communication, and activity tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation related to inventory balances, invoicing, reload activity, and truck movements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Logistics, Finance, Reload Team) and external partners to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Identify process gaps, document findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional analytical or operational support tasks as needed to support department goals.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, inventory management, freight invoicing, dispatch, and/or analytical operations support.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting/filtering, formulas, pivots) and working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
  • Experience auditing data (inventory, rates, invoices) with the ability to identify discrepancies and drive resolution.
  • Ability to coordinate and track shipments/loads; comfortable communicating with carriers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and documentation habits; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with logistics, inventory, or transportation management systems (TMS) (e.g., LBMX, Lumber Track or similar) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus and may be substituted with equivalent experience.
