Job Title: Live Streamer / Live Show Host Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager FLSA Status: Salary/Commission
Job Summary:
The Live Streamer / Live Show Host will be the on-camera face of Refreshed Tech, hosting live shopping shows on various channels to sell new and refurbished electronics. This role is responsible for hosting shows, selling inventory, educating viewers, and building a loyal community around our products. It is a great fit for someone who loves performing, is comfortable on camera, and enjoys interacting with a live audience while driving sales in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Host live shows on various channels to sell new and refurbished electronics and related items, following Refreshed Tech’s playbook and brand voice.
Educate buyers on product features, quality, condition, and category trends so they feel confident in their purchases.
Engage actively with chat: respond to viewer questions and comments in real time and keep the energy high throughout the stream.
Create a fun, entertaining atmosphere that keeps viewers watching, bidding, and coming back for future shows.
Collaborate with the team (owner, operations, inventory, marketing) on show concepts, run-of-show, and promotions to keep content fresh and on-brand.
Build and retain a loyal viewer base by recognizing regulars, encouraging follows, and promoting upcoming streams.
Hit agreed-upon performance goals such as stream hours, sales targets, and new-buyer acquisition, with regular feedback and coaching from the team.
Competencies/Skills/Abilities:
Strong public speaking and communication skills; confident, clear, and personable on camera.
Comfortable improvising, telling stories, and reacting in real time to a live audience.
Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required if you can demonstrate on-camera presence and hustle.

Required Education and Experience:

Reliable smartphone and internet connection sufficient for live streaming
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience hosting on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, or other live-selling platforms
Familiarity with consumer electronics and the refurbished technology market
Track record of meeting sales or audience-growth targets in a live-selling or content-creation role
Work Environment:
Work is performed on-site at the Refreshed Tech warehouse, hosting live shows from a dedicated streaming/studio area alongside inventory. Work is performed indoors in an environmentally controlled environment with little to no exposure to extreme environmental conditions and/or job hazards.
