Job description

Position Overview

Deal Dominion is looking for an energetic, confident, and competitive Live Stream Sales Host to sell apparel, footwear, and other products through live-stream shopping platforms.

This is not a traditional retail sales position. You will be on camera, interacting with hundreds of viewers, presenting products, running live auctions, and creating an entertaining environment that keeps people watching and buying.

You do not need previous live-streaming experience. We are looking primarily for personality, confidence, communication skills, coachability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Host live shopping streams and sell products directly to viewers.
  • Present approximately 150–250+ products during a stream while maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
  • Explain products clearly, including brand, sizing, features, and value.
  • Create excitement around auctions, deals, and limited inventory.
  • Interact with viewers through comments, questions, and shout-outs.
  • Keep the stream moving quickly without making customers feel rushed.
  • Work alongside a stream assistant and other team members to maintain an organized selling process.
  • Learn different selling techniques and continuously improve based on performance.
  • Help create an entertaining atmosphere that encourages viewers to stay, engage, and purchase.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal person is:

  • Comfortable and confident on camera
  • Naturally energetic and personable
  • Competitive and motivated by performance
  • A strong communicator who can talk continuously without sounding scripted
  • Comfortable speaking to large online audiences
  • Quick-thinking and able to improvise
  • Coachable and willing to receive feedback
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to maintain high energy for 2–3 hour live streams
  • Interested in fashion, sneakers, sales, entertainment, or social media

Previous experience in sales, content creation, TikTok, Whatnot, entertainment, hospitality, athletics, or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required.

How Success Is Measured

This is a performance-driven position. Streamers are evaluated on factors such as:

  • Products sold
  • Average selling price
  • Revenue generated
  • Viewer engagement
  • Audience retention
  • Ending viewers
  • Overall stream quality and customer experience

Strong performers will have opportunities to earn additional performance-based compensation and take on larger streams.

What Makes Someone Great at This Job

We're not looking for someone who simply holds up products and reads descriptions. A great Deal Dominion streamer can sell, entertain, and build relationships with viewers at the same time.

You should be able to make someone who just entered the stream want to stay and see what happens next. The best candidates have a personality that translates naturally on camera and enjoy competing to improve their numbers.

If you're outgoing, persuasive, comfortable being the center of attention, and want a position where your performance can directly impact what you earn, we'd like to hear from you.
