Job description

We are seeking reliable, skilled, and enthusiastic Camera Operators to join our the Greensboro Gargoyles production team. The Camera Operator will be responsible for capturing high-quality live video action while working closely with the Director, Technical Director, and production crew.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in live sports broadcasting, video production, or camera operation who thrive in fast-paced event environments.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Operate broadcast and production cameras during Gargoyles Home Games.
โ€ข Capture game action, player reactions, crowd shots, coaches, and other assigned elements as directed.
โ€ข Follow instructions and shot direction from the Show Director and production team.
โ€ข Maintain proper framing, focus, exposure, and camera movement throughout the event.
โ€ข Set up, test, and strike camera equipment before and after events.
โ€ข Assist with cable management and ensure equipment is safely positioned and operational.
โ€ข Communicate effectively with the production team through headsets and other communication systems.
โ€ข React quickly to live action and changing production needs.
โ€ข Maintain awareness of game flow and anticipate important moments and shots.
โ€ข Follow all venue safety procedures and production standards.
โ€ข Assist with other production-related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
โ€ข Previous camera operating experience in live sports, live events, television, or video production preferred.
โ€ข Knowledge of broadcast camera equipment and basic camera operation techniques.
โ€ข Ability to follow live direction and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
