Responsibilities
  • Spearhead verification efforts to ensure our comprehensive communication solutions exceed industry standards and delight our customers.
  • Cultivate the skills of your team members by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Contribute significantly to Shure's legacy of delivering superior audio and video solutions that transform the Unified Communications industry.
  • Craft detailed, comprehensive, and meticulously structured test plans and test cases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced testing strategies that enhance product development and performance across all UC components.
  • Present technical leadership and management when testing projects to achieve superior outcomes within set timelines, maintaining a results-driven approach.
  • Anticipate and address challenges promptly, ensuring project continuity without compromising quality.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and strategies to your team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader objectives.
  • Support strategic planning and execution efforts per the department's objectives, demonstrating a strong bias for action.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of total experience in quality engineering, system testing, or a related technical field. About 2+ years in a quality technical leadership role leading and growing a geographically dispersed team.
  • Extensive experience with Unified Communications platforms, specifically Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • In-depth understanding of UC system architectures, protocols, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end networking concepts, including TCP/IP, UDP, routing, and network protocols in distributed systems environments.
  • Proven experience in testing and ensuring the quality of UC solutions, focusing on performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Audio Quality: Expertise in testing and validating audio quality, including noise cancellation, echo reduction, and audio clarity in various UC scenarios.
  • Camera Quality: In-depth knowledge of camera technologies and experience in testing camera quality, including resolution, frame rate, autofocus, and low-light performance.
  • Video Quality: Proficiency in assessing and ensuring high video quality, including resolution, latency, and smoothness of video streams, as well as optimizing video performance for different network conditions.
  • Familiarity with UC hardware and software interoperability issues and solutions.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans that address the unique requirements of UC environments.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex UC issues in live environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support engineers, to enhance UC products.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in Unified Communications technology.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $113,000 to $182,000. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
