Job description

A-OK Pawn and Retail is a local, Wichita company looking for a customer service representative. The right candidate will have sales experience and a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude. Experience with firearms is a plus. Must be at least 18, have a clean record and be able to pass a background check. Must be able to work Weekends, in exchange for days off during the week. Lifting in excess of 50 pounds on a regular basis is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and share knowledge about great products like jewelry, electronics, music equipment, tools, firearms, etc.
  • Process loans, extensions, buys and layaways.
  • Contact customers via phone reminders.
  • Assist in merchandising and keeping store clean and well organized.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties.
  • Help maintain a professional and upbeat retail sales environment.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and be able to take initiative independent of direct supervision
Qualifications:

  • Sales experience preferred
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
  • Must be able to pass a basic Math Skills Assessment
