Statement of Job

Operates forklift to transport finished product pallets under normal supervision.Manually stack cases of product onto pallets.

Major Duties

• Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.

• Relieves Palletizing Master Operatorand Pallet Ticket Clerkas needed.

• Knowfunctionsofthe robots.

• Troubleshoot alarms and manually control RGV functions.

• Know conveying system, be able to manuallyoperatechains and rollers manually.

• Know controls for case merge system(zipper).

• Delivers finished product pallets from the automatic and manual palletizers to the pallet ticket conveyor.

• Enterspallets' origin on a touch screen monitor.

• Transports product betweenAmericold, Quality Recheck areas, and McCain holding area.

• Ensures pallets bearcorrect inventory/recall tickets.

• Monitors, adjusts, andoperatesautomatic palletizers and stretchwrapper.

• Maintains, changes andrecordsinstallation of forklift batteries.

• Complete forklift checklist.

• Stacks cases of product onto pallets and tapes cases asappropriate.

• Verifies uniform case codes by product on each pallet.

• Send pallets to Wrappers or station 5 with correct information.

• Know controls for pallet loading stations.

• Ensure hold time is no more than an hour inworkarea.

• Take mixed cases and add back to line flow every hour.

• Communicates case taping issues with lineoperator.

• Keeps work area neat,cleanand orderly (OAC).

• Demonstrates and follows safe work practices as outlined and described within the nine key element process (safety model).

• Understands the concepts andparticipatesin the quality process.

• Participates in factory clean-ups.

• Performs otherduties asassigned by supervision.

• Obtain valid forklift license and drive when instructed.

• Requires mental and manualskill,initiativeand independence.

• Requires constant care to avoid major injury to self.

• Occasionally requires substantial physical effort and working in awkward positions

• Required to drive forklift when needed.

• Requires considerable care to avoid moderate damage to equipment, moderate damage of product, andserious injuryto self and others.

• Involves constant exposure to distracting noise.

• Requires forklift certification.

• Areas of responsibility: RGV, pallet dispenser, movement of pallets, staging palletizing supplies, Zipper, OAC.
