SUMMARY
The Worship Pastor provides spiritual, pastoral, and strategic leadership for the Worship Ministry at Pinelake's Madison campus. This leader is responsible for cultivating a healthy worship culture by making disciples, developing staff and servant leaders, and equipping teams to lead others toward Jesus through Christ-centered worship.

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all worship and production ministries and environments at the Madison Campus.
  • Recruit, equip, schedule, and develop staff and servant leaders.
  • Embody a Jesus-Centered Life and build a culture of discipleship in the Worship Ministry.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Associate, and Production Director.
  • Partner with the Lead Pastor of Worship and the Pinelake Worship One Church Team to implement worship strategy, programming, and resources.
  • Contribute to the planning of weekend worship services and special events as led by One Church Team.
  • Build healthy ministry systems for planning, communication, scheduling, execution, and evaluation.
  • Establish ministry goals, evaluate effectiveness, and lead continuous improvement.
  • Steward ministry budgets, gear and resources with wisdom and accountability.
  • Work collaboratively with campus and One Church ministry leaders to support the overall mission of the church.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead/supervise the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Pastor and Production Director.
Supervises and coordinates work with servant leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree as a minimum. A four to six years of applicable experience leading worship as well as parallel leadership of staff as well as servant leaders. Must also exhibit proficiency in leading worship from a primary instrument.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e-mail and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public and church members and regular attendees. The individual must have the ability to understand written or oral instructions; read, analyze and interpret complex documents, instructions manuals, policies and procedures is essential.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of Windows/MacOS to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets and the ability to use the internet for information retrieval. The individual must have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, and budget and expense monitoring. The individual must have the ability to read financial information and spreadsheets.

The individual must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries; simultaneous conceptualization and planning of multiple tasks, ability to project outcomes using different implementation strategies and ability to apply creative and innovative thinking to problem situations; and solve practical problems. The ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions to ensure deadlines are met is essential.
