Job description

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray AB is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! 

This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area.

  • Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software
  • Class 5 Driver's License required.

  • Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs.
  • Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
  • Complete repair orders.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.
  • Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.
  • Complete warranty information.
  • Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.
  • Carry out housekeeping duties.
  • Complete required documentation and daily samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner.
