Job description

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. May perform a wide variety of tasks in the provision of turf maintenance, landscape services, irrigation systems, and horticulture tasks for the City parks, cemeteries, and other public landscape areas. May include operating power mowers and other landscape equipment. May include general labor such as trash pickup; weeding; flower, shrub, and tree care; and mulching landscaped areas. May also include watering plants, lifting hoses, and standing for long periods. Knowledge of plant materials is desired. The approximate starting date is mid-April with some positions running through November. General work hours are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Friday.
