Job description

Description:

PurgeRite is a leader in high-quality mechanical flushing services, undergoing exciting and rapid growth, and pioneering innovative, sustainable water treatment solutions for the mission-critical construction industry. Our latest solution, NearZero, is a revolutionary plug-on system designed to recycle wastewater during the flushing process, minimizing discharge and environmental impact. This solution aims to streamline project timelines, reduce costs, and position PurgeRite as the clear leader in sustainable flushing services.

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Technician to play a vital role in our field operations. In this role, you will execute on-site mechanical flushing, water treatment, and NearZero system operations from start to finish. This role will be responsible for setting up systems according to complex flush plans, performing field water tests, executing real-time troubleshooting, and ensuring our sustainable water initiatives run efficiently and safely in the field. This role must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight, completing mechanical repairs of SCH80 PVC/CPVC and steel piping, performing mechanical and pressure-related troubleshooting, and maintaining clear communication across departments.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Extensive hands-on experience with industrial water treatment, water reclamation, and wastewater reduction systems is required. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot treatment equipment, monitor water quality, optimize system performance, and support initiatives that maximize water reuse while minimizing wastewater discharge and environmental impact. Experience in field-based industrial, construction, or commissioning environments is highly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Field Operations & Execution: Conduct all on-site fill, flush, and rinse activities. Run jobs independently from start to finish when required due to limited Senior Technician availability.

· System Setup & Compliance: Complete equipment and system setups strictly according to engineered flush plan drawings.

· Water Testing & Analysis: Complete and accurately analyze field water tests as requested by engineering, chemical representatives, mechanical contractors, or the end user.

· Troubleshooting & Adjustments: Perform on-site troubleshooting involving mechanical systems and pressure, making real-time operational adjustments as needed.

· NearZero System Management: Oversee the operation of the NearZero wastewater recycling system, ensuring optimal performance and environmental compliance.

· Communication & Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with all internal departments to ensure any on-site setup changes or operational shifts are properly communicated and mediated.

· Reporting: Submit detailed daily end-of-shift reports during all NearZero operations and active project runs.

Requirements:

· Experience: Relevant field experience in water treatment involving reverse osmosis or similar industrial/construction field work.

· Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to perform minor troubleshooting involving complex systems and pressure; can be left alone to manage on-site operations when necessary.

· Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical inclination with the ability to read and execute plan drawings and interpret field water testing data.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate changes across departments and write concise end-of-shift reports.

· Safety Orientation: OSHA 30 Certified highly preferred. If the candidate does not have OSHA 30 before being hired, they will be required to obtain it through the company.

· Compliance: Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe, insurable driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Background: Ability to pass comprehensive drug tests and background checks.

· Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time. Experience in dynamic field/construction environments with the ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and tools as required for the position. Regularly requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Position Goal: The goal is to safely, efficiently, and independently execute mechanical flushing and NearZero water treatment operations on-site, maximizing water recycling and sustainability efforts, maintaining strict adherence to flush plans, and ensuring seamless cross-departmental communication from project start to finish.

Company Support: The company is committed to providing the necessary resources and advanced training to ensure this person can successfully execute their job requirements.
