Position: Electrophysiologist (EP) Cardiologist – Full-Time
Location: Dothan, Alabama

Overview:
VHS is seeking a highly qualified Electrophysiologist (EP) Cardiologist to join our esteemed Heart & Vascular Center in Dothan, Alabama. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a dynamic, well-established facility committed to innovative, comprehensive cardiac care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced cardiac electrophysiology services, including diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.
  • Perform complex electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implantations, and pacemaker management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, vascular specialists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, sharing responsibilities with fellow electrophysiologists—coverage averages four times per month, with potential reductions as additional EPs join.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of electrophysiology protocols and patient care pathways.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
