Job description

Translation amp; Interpretation Network (TIN) powered by Lango is hiring fluent bilingual speakers as Independent Contractors for Onsite, Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over the Phone Interpreting (OPI). The interpreter will provide interpretation in different fields such as education, medical, social services, legal, court and etc. We offer flexible schedule where you may accept or decline jobs based on your availability. The interpreter must have a professional proficiency in English and any languages. They must follow the professional Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities:

Interpret between English and Turkish language.

Have the ability to accurately interpret between English and Any.

Maintain professionalism through attitude and interpreting services.

Must have reliable transportation for onsite appointments, and a reliable phone, internet connection and a quiet work environment for virtual appointments.

understand language variations and interpreting modes

Qualification:

*Proficient in English and Any languages in both written and spoken forms.

*Proficient computer skill including but not limited emails, scheduling system, zoom, Microsoft teams and etc.

*Advanced Interpretation Skills and Communication skills

Be familiar with Interpreting modes - Simultaneous or Consecutive, VRI ,OPI, OSI

*Certified in Interpreting or related field - BA in interpretation or Translation or related field.

*At least 1-2 years experience interpreting in a professional setting.
