Responsibilities include:

  • Design & Documentation: Develop, refine, and review architectural designs, schematics, and fully coordinated construction documents
  • Team & Consultant Leadership: Manage internal design teams and coordinate with external consultants (structural, civil, MEP)
  • Compliance & Permitting: Research and apply local building codes, zoning bylaws, and accessibility regulations to ensure permit-readiness and legal compliance.
  • Client Relations: Collaborate with the client to define project goals, present design options, and manage expectations throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Construction Administration: Review submittals, respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), issue change orders, and conduct regular site visits to ensure the built work aligns with the design intent

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit required
  • Degree in Architecture
  • Architectural license or in process
  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite preferred; familiarity with Bluebeam and project scheduling software (e.g., Monograph) a plus
  • Experience in the management, production and/or coordination of a wide range of commercial projects required.
