Job description

We are seeking an exceptional, dependable, and highly organized Private Caregiver / Household Assistant to provide personalized support for an elderly couple. This is a unique, long-term opportunity for an experienced caregiver who enjoys providing exceptional care while also assisting with household management, cooking, organization, and travel.
The ideal candidate will be professional, discreet, proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a private-home environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and assistance with activities of daily living as needed
  • Perform thorough housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized home
  • Prepare meals, grocery shop, and assist with meal planning
  • Run errands and assist with household-related tasks
  • Organize household items and assist with day-to-day household management
  • Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments, activities, social engagements, and events
  • Assist with packing and travel preparation
  • Provide support and companionship while traveling
  • Anticipate clients' needs and help maintain a comfortable, safe, and organized environment
Travel Requirements
Significant flexibility to travel is required. The caregiver must be willing and able to accompany the clients to:
  • Los Angeles
  • Destinations throughout California
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Other destinations as needed
Travel may include overnight and extended stays.

Schedule
This is a full-time position with the potential for a live-in arrangement. Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, overnight stays, and travel, is essential.
Qualifications
