Can you get a job living in an RV?

Live-in towing jobs typically require working on-site at a specific location, such as a towing yard or roadside, and usually do not involve living in an RV as part of the job. However, some mobile or remote towing positions may allow living in an RV nearby, especially if the employer permits it and the job involves traveling or on-call duties. It is important to clarify housing arrangements with the employer before accepting such a position.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Live-in towing jobs typically do not pay $4,000 a week; however, high-paying roles in specialized trades like commercial truck driving, oilfield work, or certain construction positions can reach or exceed that level without a college degree. The 80% rule in towing refers to the guideline that a tow vehicle should have a towing capacity at least 80% of the weight of the trailer or load being towed to ensure safe and effective operation. Proper training and adherence to manufacturer specifications are essential for compliance and safety.

Job description

Earn reliable extra income close to home with a consistent schedule.

No long-distance driving. Just local apartment communities, steady work, and a routine you can count on.

Important: To perform this role, you must have reliable transportation, including either:

  • Your own open-bed pickup truck, or
  • A vehicle capable of towing a trailer and a trailer you'll use for the job.

We're hiring part-time Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porters (Field Services Technicians) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and running smoothly. You'll work independently, stay active, and see the results of your work every day.

This role is ideal if you're looking for part-time work, a second job, or a consistent daytime schedule close to home.

What You'll Do

Each service day, you'll help maintain apartment communities by keeping common areas, disposal areas, and outdoor spaces clean and well cared for.

  • Maintain dumpster areas, trash enclosures, and common spaces so communities stay clean and welcoming
  • Compact and organize trash using company-provided equipment
  • Handle recycling and compost materials according to procedures
  • Remove debris, sweep areas, and complete general porter services
  • Remove pet waste from designated areas using provided supplies
  • Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
  • Use our mobile app to track work, complete tasks, and confirm service
  • Stay active by walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors

Why You'll Like This Role

  • Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
  • Consistent Daytime Schedule: Typically Sunday-Thursday or Wednesday-Sunday, starting around 6:00 AM (varies by market) for a total of 10-15+ hours per week
  • Local Work: Assigned apartment communities near where you live
  • Steady Routine: Reliable work with a predictable schedule
  • Fast Pay: Access earnings quickly with DailyPay
  • Stay Active: Get paid to move instead of sitting all day
  • Flexible Fit: Great for a second job or supplemental income
  • Fast Hiring Process: Apply today and get started quickly

Qualifications

  • You must personally own either (1) an open-bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer (including SUVs, sedans, and vans) do not qualify.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Auto insurance for the vehicle being used
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
  • Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
  • Operate a manual tamper to compact trash safely
  • Work around trash, recycling, and waste
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Why Field Services Technicians Choose This Role

  • Stay Active: Get paid to move and work with your hands
  • Make an Impact: See the difference you make every day
  • Growth Opportunities: Build skills and move into lead or management roles
  • Referral Bonuses: Earn extra by referring others to join the team
  • Safety First: Equipment, supplies, and clear procedures provided

If you're looking for reliable income, a consistent daytime schedule, and work where you can see the results of your effort, we'd love to have you on our team.
