Avid Quality Care is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Registered Nurse (temp) to join our growing team. If you are passionate about serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and enjoy building relationships with clients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams, we would love to meet you.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive and family-oriented leadership team that values collaboration, quality care, and continuous improvement.
Position Summary
This role includes managing billing, documentation, training, and overseeing a caseload of approximately 60 consumers. The RN will be responsible for maintaining high-quality care while splitting on-call duties every other week and contracting on-call services two weekends per months. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of collaborating effectively with various teams to ensure optimal care for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Active and valid BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term
care environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and
handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience in training staff in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality care.
