Locum - Physician - Radiology (Diagnostic)
Location: Grass Valley, CA
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Type: Weekend Day Shift - Telemedicine
Start: As soon as credentialed (60-90 days)
Job Details:
  • Looking for 1-2 Diagnostic Radiologists for weekend telemedicine coverage.
  • Providers will read general diagnostic studies: MR, CT, Ultrasound, and X-ray.
  • MSK and Body imaging experience preferred.
  • Must live in CA, CO, MI, NY, SC, or FL due to billing requirements.
  • Must hold an active CA license and CA Fluoroscopy S&O permit.
  • Cannot be working from any other state.
Schedule:
  • Shift: 8 AM-5 PM or 9 AM-6 PM (8 hours)
  • Weekends only, based on open dates
  • Current open weekends:
    January: 3-4, 10-11, 24-25
    February: 7-8, 21-22
    March: 7-8
    April: 4-5
    May: 2-3, 30-31
    June: 13-14, 27-28
Workload:
  • Avg per day (shared between 2 providers):
    • 75 CTs
    • 20 MRIs
    • 200 X-rays
Systems & Support:
  • EMR: Cerner
  • PACS: Merge
  • Voice Recognition: Nuance PowerScribe 360
  • Workstation provided
  • 24/7 IT support available
  • No call
Credentials Needed:
  • Board Certified - Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active CA License
  • CA Fluoroscopy S&O Permit
  • Credentialing: 60-90 days
  • Will credential with DHMF + hospital
Reason for Need: Short staffed
Must-Haves / Deal Breakers:
  • Must be able to read MR, CT, US, and X-ray
  • Must hold required CA licenses/certifications
  • Must reside in one of the approved states
