4633 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45244 (Clermont and Brown County)

Hours: 28-40 hours per week (Evenings and Weekends) / Full-Time, Part-Time, or Piecework opportunities


 Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, adults, and families? At Child Focus, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate Crisis Hotline Responder to join our team. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build healthier communities.


Our Crisis Hotline Responder provides vital support to individuals experiencing mental health crises in Clermont and Brown Counties. This role is based at our office in Mt. Carmel, Ohio, with potential for remote work after probationary period. Responsibilities include managing crisis calls, conducting lethality assessments, providing referrals, and ensuring effective crisis management.  

  • Provide immediate crisis management and stabilization support, including suicide risk assessment.
  • Collaborate within a team to deliver crisis interventions to adults, children, and families.
  • Facilitate linkages to essential services and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate client records and comply with Ohio law and Child Focus procedures.
  • Collect data and complete reporting required for 988 implementation.
  • Employ active listening techniques to de-escalate callers experiencing mental health concerns.

Requirements:

Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with 2 years of mental health experience

Degree Preferred: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology

License Required: LSW, LPC, MFT

License Preferred: LISW, LPCC, or IMFT
