This role entails much more than typical parenting responsibilities. You'll be providing skilled care, discipline, and nurturing while addressing any serious issues through treatment interventions. Your multifaceted role encompasses that of a behavior management specialist, mentor, advocate, and caregiver. Beyond the day-to-day care of foster children, you'll be deeply involved in their educational journey, working closely with schools, attending meetings, and providing access to extracurricular activities. Additionally, you'll build positive relationships with biological families, demonstrating respect, effective communication, and support in reunification efforts. Managing household operations, including budgeting and maintenance, is also part of your purview.
