Job description

Operations Director– Lifespring Chiropractic (Austin, TX)

Hiring: Actively

Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week

Compensation: $70,000 base + up to $5,000 performance bonus, PTO, 401k match, Monthly Health Stipend

Join a team on a mission to change the way the world views health

It’s Monday morning.

You’re already at the office before the team arrives. You’ve looked at the schedule, spotted the pressure points, and made a few quiet adjustments. By the time the doors open and the phones start ringing, the clinic is ready and the team feels it.

Around 9:15, Dr. Matt the owner walks in with coffee for the team. He’s also paying attention to whether the front desk greeted the first patient by name. Both things are true here.

Welcome to Lifespring Chiropractic

We’re an award-winning clinic in South Austin, voted Best Chiropractic Office in Austin four years running, and we’re here to change the way the world views health.

We treat the body more like a plant than a car. Symptoms are the leaves. The nervous system is the root system. We don’t chase symptoms. We help people become their own best healer through care that addresses the body as a whole.

Using the TriChord Method (our proprietary clinical framework), INSiGHT nervous system scans, and the Core Four foundational habits, we guide patients from chronic dysfunction back to a body that can regulate itself.

The Operations Director makes sure that mission shows up in how we operate every single day.

This is a leadership role

You’ll set the tone. You’ll lead the team. You’ll own the operations. You’ll hold the standard.

You partner directly with the owner on strategy, and starting in summer 2026, you’ll partner with our incoming Clinical Director on team accountability and culture. Together you hold the office to a high standard while protecting the warmth that makes this place what it is.

A team member needs direction, so you step in with clarity. The schedule tightens, so you adjust it. A patient has a concern, so you handle it calmly and with care. A system breaks, so you fix it.

You see what needs doing, and you do it.

What you’ll own
  • Daily clinic operations and patient experience from front desk to back office
  • Leading and developing the patient care coordinator team (three now, growing to four)
  • Phone conversion, scheduling efficiency, and financial conference quality
  • Vendor relationships, facility issues, and quarterly community events
  • Tracking and improving cancellations, conversion, and visit volume
  • Strategic partnership with the owner and (starting summer 2026) the Clinical Director
  • Spotting inefficiencies and improving them
This role is for someone who
  • Steps into leadership without being asked
  • Can be supportive, directive, and vulnerable depending on what the moment calls for
  • Builds order out of busy days
  • Stays steady when things shift
  • Communicates clearly and directly
  • Has held people accountable before and isn’t afraid to do it again
  • Feels pulled toward mission-driven work
Why join Lifespring

Live and work in Austin. One of the most sought‑after cities in the country, in a neighborhood people dream about.

Your voice matters. Co‑lead the clinic alongside the owner and (starting summer 2026) the Clinical Director. Shape culture, systems, and what comes next.

Real work‑life balance. Weekends off. Monday through Friday only.

A clear path forward. Lifespring is growing. The Operations Director who performs well here is the natural lead for what comes next as we expand.

The honest part

Some days will stretch you. Some conversations will challenge you. You won’t be stuck doing work that doesn’t matter. You’ll be leading, growing, and contributing to a clinic that’s actually changing how people relate to their health.

Compensation

$70,000 base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus up to $5,000 tied to a mix of practice metrics (phone conversion, weekly visits, cancellation rate) and culture and execution quality. Total potential: $75,000.

Ready to lead a clinic with purpose?

Apply below. Please submit your resume and a cover letter answering these three questions:

  • Why you’re a strong fit for this role
  • What excites you about being part of a mission‑driven clinic like Lifespring
  • Tell me about a time you had to hold someone accountable. What did you say, and how did it go?
