What You'll Do
  • Guide clients through assessments, job exploration, and career preparation.
  • Conduct practice interviews and provide on-the-job coaching as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers across Kansas City.
  • Assist clients with job applications, onboarding, and workplace success.
  • Track progress, document outcomes, and maintain accurate case records in Therap.
  • Participate in outreach activities to promote PALS U Careers and community awareness.
  • Support summer work programs and team projects as assigned.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED (required); associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in employment services, job coaching, or human services (preferred).
  • Strong communication and organization skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems (Therap experience a plus).
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle (required).
  • Ability to complete CPR, First Aid, and employment support certifications.
