Job description

Link Logistics Real Estate ("Link") is a leading operator of last-mile logistics real estate. Established by Blackstone in 2019, the company connects consumption, technology, and the supply chain across its portfolio, which spans more than half a billion square feet. With more than 5 percent of U.S. GDP flowing through our spaces, we leverage our scale, proprietary data and insights, and foundational focus on sustainability to drive success for our customers' businesses and deliver value for our stakeholders. Link Logistics strives to be the most equitable and inclusive industrial real estate company in the business. We put our people, customers, and communities first and find ways to make a conscious, positive impact where we live and work, prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across our workforce to deliver an optimal employee experience. Every day, we work to reinvent and lead our industry forward by thinking bigger and challenging the status quo.
Because we believe that good business must be synonymous with doing good, strong environmental, social and governance practices are foundational to our identity as a firm. These practices include setting ambitious goals to combat climate change, partnering with local nonprofits, and prioritizing internal diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Link's 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. We offer internships in a variety of departments including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, Asset Management and more.
Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors, who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing strategy, broker segmentation and go-to-market planning. The Marketing Summer Intern will support execution of Link's indirect broker marketing strategy - helping map and segment the regional and local broker market, develop broker personas, and build the messaging, program elements and channel strategy that engage brokers beyond our national partners.
What You Will Do:
  • Support Link's indirect broker strategy by helping map regional and local brokers against our portfolio marketing product segmentation and customer data.

  • Help research and develop personas for regional and local broker segments, identifying what they value and how they differ from national firms.

  • Support the build-out of a structured, tiered broker marketing program, including tracking engagement, performance and incentive elements across segments.

  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Creative & Production and Corporate Communications team members to help tune messaging, channel strategy and assets for different broker segments, audiences and industries.

  • Help organize, review and refine marketing presentations, campaign materials and creative assets for internal and external audiences.

  • Research the regional and local broker landscape, including firms, specialties and market nuances, to help identify opportunities for stronger engagement.

Skills You Will Build:
  • Broker segmentation and go-to-market strategy

  • Audience research and persona development

  • Channel strategy and value proposition

  • Presentation development and storytelling

  • Program planning and engagement strategy

  • Cross-functional collaboration across Digital Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Creative & Production and Corporate Communications

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, ideally pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

  • Foundational understanding of marketing channels, marketing principles and audience segmentation.

  • Interest in marketing strategy, market research and audience segmentation, with an appreciation for creative execution and storytelling.

  • Conscientious self-starter with strong organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Previous internship, coursework or project experience related to marketing, digital media, social media or creative content is preferred.

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
