Job description

The Diocese of Jefferson City is seeking missionaries for the following Summer 2025 programs:
Totus Tuus Missionary is an 8 week (with training) job that provides a Catholic youth program which travels to a different parish community each week and provides catechesis during the day to grades 1-12 in fun and engaging ways.
Summer Camp Missionary is an 8 week (with training) job providing Catholic overnight summer camps each week serving 10-18 year old youth.
Missionaries must be able to commit to live and work at the parish or campsite for the duration of the summer programs. Training, meals and housing will be provided.
The Office of Youth Ministry strives to empower young people and those who minister to them to live as disciples of Jesus in the Church and world.
By supporting parishes in the ministry of welcoming, engaging, and forming youth, and by providing effective resources to adult Youth Leaders, we hope to create communities where needs are met, people are supported, families are strengthened, and Christ is served.
New applicants must read and complete all questions on the application. Failure to do so may cause your application to be denied. Returning missionaries need only to complete questions A-D. Seminarians must complete one additional question on the application.
Two references are required, preferably one from a former employer or volunteer supervisor and a second reference from a parish priest, deacon, religious educator, teacher, or youth leader. Please inform your references that a recommendation form will be emailed to them.
Your application should state whether you are interested in being a Totus Tuus Misssionary or Summer Camp Missionary for Summer 2025.
