Position Summary:

Element Solutions is looking for a motivated and highly experienced Senior Data Management Analyst to support a government contract working hybrid, with additional on-site presence as required by the client.  This Senior Data Management Analyst will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data systems. You’ll ensure data quality, security, and accessibility, while helping teams make smarter, data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on role that combines strategy, governance, and collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust data management systems and workflows to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and security of organizational data.
  • Analyze business and technical data requirements to develop scalable data models.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to support compliance with regulatory standards and internal best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize data storage, retrieval, and integration processes.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality metrics, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to enhance data management practices and improve organizational decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, governance, and analytics.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or data analytics roles.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Proficiency with data management tools, databases, and data visualization platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must reside in the Continental US; and be within driving distance to Washington, DC.
  • Depending on the government agency, specific requirements may include public trust background check or security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Certification in data management or governance (e.g., CDMP, DAMA).

The likely salary range for this position is $130,000-$175,000.  The salary offered will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity, business needs, and other factors permitted by law. Posted pay ranges are a general guideline only and are not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
