Live-in storage facility managers are individuals who reside on the premises of a self-storage facility and oversee its daily operations. Their responsibilities typically include renting storage units, maintaining the property, handling customer inquiries, performing security checks, and managing payments. Living on-site allows them to respond quickly to emergencies and provide enhanced security for the facility. This role often includes rent-free accommodation as part of the compensation package. It's a position that requires reliability, good customer service skills, and the ability to handle minor maintenance tasks.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a live in storage facility manager?
