Empower Patients to Live Independently

Occupational Therapist – Home Health | Stafford, VA

Employment Type: Part-Time/PRN

Pay Range: $48.00-$50.00


At Medi Home Health Agency, a division of Medical Services of America, we’re committed to delivering exceptional care right where it matters most—in the home. We’re currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time/PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve patients in Stafford, Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania (Stafford, Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania), VA.


As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you’ll work one-on-one with patients to help restore function, promote independence, and improve overall quality of life. You’ll play a vital role in supporting recovery through personalized treatment plans and collaborative care.


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions designed to restore daily function and independence.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on alternative strategies for daily activities, safe transfers, and proper positioning.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and optimal outcomes.
  • Accurately document patient progress and submit records within 24 hours of each visit.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and home health best practices.


What You Bring:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of VA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical OT experience (home health experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and required auto liability insurance.
