Experienced Neonatologist Opportunity

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, board-certified Neonatologist to join and help lead our expanding program at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position offers an ideal blend of clinical leadership, schedule flexibility, and the ability to practice high-quality community neonatology—while living in one of the most desirable regions in the Mid-Atlantic.

Your Role & Impact

  • Provide collaborative care in the Level III NICU and newborn nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in perinatal team care
  • Mentor nursing and respiratory therapy teams as NICU volume and acuity expand
  • Help shape clinical protocols and growth strategies for a developing NICU program
  • Work alongside: 2 Neonatologists and 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

NICU Overview

  • 8-bed Level III NICU
  • 10 LDR couplet care rooms
  • Combined census: 9–11 patients/day
  • Approximately 1,250 annual deliveries
  • Strong in-house OB Hospitalist support
