Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite (Mandatory)
Employment Type: Contract (12 Months, with Potential Extension or Conversion)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer - Full Stack .NET Developer to join a technology team responsible for supporting critical Mail and Print Operations applications used for shipping label generation, scanning, printing, and processing. This team manages more than 10 enterprise applications and is actively modernizing systems through cloud migration, application reengineering, containerization, and AI integration initiatives.
The selected candidate will work as a core member of an agile development team, specializing in one or two applications while contributing to modernization efforts, vulnerability remediation, cloud adoption, and ongoing application enhancements.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong Microsoft technology expertise, cloud experience, and a proven ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET technologies.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Participate in modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications to cloud and containerized environments.
  • Develop and optimize SQL database solutions and data access components.
  • Support vulnerability management, security remediation, and application resiliency efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation practices.
  • Participate in production deployments and occasional evening releases when required.
  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis of application issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with recent hands-on development expertise.
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core.
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • Web APIs
    • RESTful API design and development
    • Angular or modern front-end frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience with:
    • SQL Server and SQL database development
    • Autosys job scheduling
    • Cloud platforms, preferably OpenShift (OCP)
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Proven ability to participate in technical design, coding, debugging, and application support.
