Job description

Occupational Therapist (OT)

HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient team at the Workman Sports Complex. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven therapists looking for an opportunity to improve patients' independence, participation, and overall functional performance through therapeutic interventions.

Position Specifics:

  • Department: Outpatient Occupational Therapy
  • Core Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleep
  • Schedule: PRN - clinic hours are 7:00am-5:00pm (8 hour shifts)
  • Facility: St. Anthony's Hospital - Workman Sports Complex
  • Location: Effingham, IL
  • Compensation: Compensation that aligns with your experience

Education Qualifications:

  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.

Experience Qualifications:

  • N/A

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

  • IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
