How you'll make an impact:
As the Direct-To-Consumer Sales Director, you will drive measurable revenue growth by leading a high-performing sales team, shaping strategic direction, and strengthening senior-level client and agency partnerships. By leveraging data, market insights, and innovative sales approaches, you'll optimize performance and unlock new opportunities. Your leadership will also elevate team capability, ensuring sustained success through talent development and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed revenue targets by developing and executing strategic, results-oriented sales plans.
  • Oversee DTC/performance media sales efforts, driving new business development while expanding and deepening existing client relationships.
  • Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients and advertising agencies to accelerate revenue growth and market presence.
  • Leverage seller performance data and market insights to identify opportunities, optimize strategy, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the delivery of compelling, high-quality responses to RFPs and avails, elevating win rates and client satisfaction.
  • Drive disciplined pipeline and activity management through Salesforce, Salesloft, and other sales technologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the media landscape, translating industry knowledge and relationships into strategic advantage.
  • Develop and implement innovative advertising sales strategies aligned with industry best practices and evolving market dynamics.
  • Champion a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading change initiatives.
  • Invest in the growth and development of team members through coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Own revenue forecasting and ensure accurate, consistent reporting across the team.
  • Lead quota planning across accounts, individual contributors, and the broader team to align with organizational goals.

What You'll Need
  • Typically requires 10 years of experience with 5 or more years of management experience.
  • Proven success in lower-funnel KPI advertising sales with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep expertise in the digital advertising ecosystem, including platforms, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals and drive them to close.
  • Proven leadership in developing and elevating early-career sales talent through strategic coaching and mentorship.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and modern sales engagement tools.
  • Experience leveraging sales intelligence and prospecting tools such as Salesloft, ZoomInfo, MediaRadar, and similar platforms.
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini, etc
  • Must of legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $126,315 to $181,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
