In this role, you will lead a team of Guidewire Engineers who develop, maintain, and improve software products and systems. Additionally, you will leverage a combination of technical expertise, product management, project management, and managerial skills.

    • Oversee a team of software engineers and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

    • Be responsible for building a cohesive team, assigning tasks, and ensuring that team members have the resources they need to succeed.

    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define product vision that aligns with business objectives and strategy.

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and

    • timeline constraints and are aligned with product vision.

    • Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality control processes to maintain high software quality and performance.

    • Administer human resource-related activities including timely performance and salary reviews and ensure all subordinates adhere to human resources policies and practices.

  • What it Takes:

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

    • Minimum 5 years of related work experience.

    • Proven experience in software development and team management.

    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

    • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

    • Ability to communicate, both written and presentation, to appropriate audiences.

    • Knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.

    • Experience with Guidewire applications strongly preferred.
