Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. Must live in the Chicago Area
Responsibilities
  • Install, program, test, inspect, and service fire alarm systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm panels, devices, and communication equipment. 
  • Complete inspection reports, service tickets, and related documentation accurately. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with fire alarm systems. 
  • Experience with commercial fire alarm systems preferred. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage systems. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • General work hours 7:30am to 4:30pm: Monday Through Friday
  • Technician supplied basic hand tools
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights. 
  • Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments. 
  • Ability to work with power tools
