Job description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:Serves as the Lead person for sign and commercial graphic installations.Assists when needed with the fabrication of signage, which may require vinyl-cut text, custom ink, paint and screen-printing on different substrates such as plexiglas, PVC, sandblast wood, banners, metals and other specialty substrates.Performs quality control checks on installation jobs, follows up on punch list items as required. Responsible for pre-installation site inspection and attends pre-installation meetings as required. Documents site conditions and recommends proper installation methods and material.Keeps accurate logs of installation time and material usage. Other Duties:Assists with documentation on production and material usage logs using appropriate raw material and MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices) sign codes.Assists department with general maintenance and cleaning of equipment, small tools and overall shop area and job sites.Performs other duties as assigned.Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.Assists with annual inventory count Mental and Physical Demands: Able to lift 75 pounds regularly, climb ladderAble to work under pressure or in a deadline driven environment; the ability to follow instructions; collaboration and cooperation with colleagues.Able to multitask Proficient in math and the ability to calculate on a consistent basisAble to wear respiratory protective equipmentMust be able to pass a medical evaluation for inclusion into the company's Respiratory Protection ProgramPRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS: Skills/Knowledge: Computer Skills Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email.
