Music & Musical Theatre Teachers โ€“ Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drums & StringsAcademy of Music is the largest private music school in West Michigan, serving students at our Grand Rapids and Jenison locations. Since 2003, we've built a reputation for outstanding instruction, a supportive teaching environment, and exceptional customer service for families. In addition to private music lessons, we offer year-round musical theatre programs, group piano classes, and seasonal music camps.
We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable music and musical theatre teachers who love helping students grow in confidence and ability. If you're passionate about music education and enjoy working with students of all ages, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • Teach weekly private music lessons
  • Occasionally teach one-hour music workshops throughout the year
  • Opportunities to teach group classes such as musical theatre or group piano
  • Opportunities to participate in seasonal programs such as summer camps
  • Prepare students for our winter and spring recitals
  • Provide recorded or live online lessons when appropriate for student absences
  • Encourage students while helping them achieve their musical goals
