PRIMARY PURPOSE:To calculate employee benefit overpayments; and to obtain reimbursements from overpaid disability and worker's compensation cases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures compliance with established recovery procedures and standards.
  • Maintains quality control.
  • Conducts periodic file reviews of team members' files.
  • Provides payroll administration services for claimants receiving payments from outside of company systems.
  • Coordinates recovery activity on assigned cases.
  • Refers cases to collection agencies as applicable.
  • Notifies employees verbally and in writing of claim overpayments.
  • Responsible for manual calculations of employee benefit overpayments.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.Licenses as required.

Experience
Three (3) years of financial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Claims management experience preferred.

For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $25.00 USD hourly.
