Position: Financial Analyst Provider Compensation
Entity: Clinical Care Associates
Department: Finance - PA
Location: Penn Medicine Hospice- 150 Monument Road

Summary:
The Financial Analyst for Provider Compensation supports the activities of the Provider Compensation and Contracting Manager and Provider Recruitment & Finance teams in the area of physician/advanced practice provider compensation and other financial analysis. Incumbent will work collaboratively with entity stakeholders to provide data analytics and communication support regarding varied provider compensation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews bi-weekly payroll submissions for additional compensation paid to physicians and APPs.
  • Provides analytical support during the annual incentive reconciliation process for all providers (physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)), base compensation reconciliation/reset for all physicians and CUV/conversion factor reset process.
  • Serves as contact for physician and APP payroll questions and issues. Collaborates with HRIS, IS, Corporate Payroll, and Practice Leadership to ensure physicians are paid correctly. Escalates issues as needed for timely resolution.
  • Develops multi-year compensation and productivity projections speaks with physician candidates to provide details on compensation models as needed.
  • Provides education and consultation to newly hired physicians regarding PSP/PPC provider compensation models as needed. Analyzes trends and projects future productivity.
  • Provides analytical support to the process of projecting physician movement into productivity-based compensation models assists in ensuring amendments to employment agreements are completed when necessary.
  • Analyzes productivity of new physicians and alerts Manager if concerning trends develop.
  • Provides analytical support to monthly incentive accruals, RVU reporting, and annual budget process as it relates to provider compensation.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Mathematics (Required).
  • 2+ years Experience with complex financial and data analytics (Required).
Skills & Abilities:
  • ANALYTICS: Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
  • COMMUNICATION: Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
  • HUMAN RESOURCES: Ability to discuss compensation concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • TECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Power Point
  • TECHNOLOGY: Ability to use Microsoft Word
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
